The “Cosplay Theatre” by Popeye Theatre was held in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Tin Shui Wai, Tung Chung, Fanling, and Tuen Mun from September to November 2007. It was a performance that conveys the scourge of drugs and resisting temptation. Thirty primary schools in Tai Po, Kwai Chung, Tai Kok Tsui, Prince Edward, Mong Kok, Jordan, Shek Kip Mei and Ngau Tau Kok joined the touring performances. In addition, more than 8,500 students enjoyed the performances.

 

During the event, the students all appeared engaged and excited. They were enthusiastic and active in the interactive games. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and happy. Apart from that, the school also appreciated that the performance can bring out the harmful effects of drugs and anti-drug methods; recognised the professional performances and novel drama concepts. In addition, the school stated that the interactive activities could help strengthen students’ understanding of anti-drugs.
